There is also an amenity area across the road alongside the loch which you can walk around and enjoy. However care should be taken when crossing the road and children should be accompanied while crossing the road.

It should be noted that the loch is a site of scientific interest (SSSI) and therefore every effort needs to be made to avoid any pollution going into the loch. It is possible to walk around the loch but you are advised not to walk on the golf course

You should also note that any horses in the adjacent fields should not be fed under any circumstances.

The site includes an Amenity Building which contains a fully equipped kitchen and laundry as well as heated shower and toilet rooms and a dining area. All the facilities are open to all who have paid the basic fee. There is a separate accessible shower and toilet area within the building.

The building has notice boards with important information about the fire and other regulations and emergency information, as well as local information on services and facilities and interpretive information on the immediate environment. You are asked to read and familiarise yourself with this information, particularly regarding fire points.

Wireless Facilities

Complementary wireless internet access is available in the amenity building and throughout the side though the latter is less reliable. A 4G phone signal is also available on site for most networks.

Waste Disposal

There are facilities for disposal of chemical toilet waste as well as a series of bins for general rubbish and recycling. Please dispose of waste in the appropriately signed bins provided. Only toilet paper should be flushed down the toilets.

Grey water disposal should be done at the designated point using suitable containers or hose connections from vehicles which can park alongside. Greywater should not be disposed of at the hard standing pitches, surface water drains, or grass area, or open streams or ditches.

Pitches for Caravans and Motorhomes

All pitches have electricity hook ups and water directly available at no extra charge i.e. it is inclusive in the basic price. Charging of electric vehicles is not permitted at hook ups. The warden can advise on the nearest EV charging points. Persons using an electrical hook up are responsible for their own electrical equipment which must comply with current British standards and regulations.

The pitches are numbered and you will be given a number when a booking has been confirmed. The pitches are all hard standing tarred pitches.

Tent Pitches

An area of grass has been set aside for pitching tents. This area is to the west of the Amenity Building and south of the Wigwams and is indicated on the ground with signs. You are free to choose a specific location within this area while respecting the position of other tents. Camping stoves can be used with proprietary stands.
